Job Description
- As a Non-Functional Testing Lead at Northern Trust, a globally recognized financial institution, you will be responsible for Performance & Chaos Engineering Tasks for engaged projects. Your key responsibilities will include: - Overall responsibility for Performance & Chaos Engineering Tasks, including estimation, planning, execution, metrics reporting, and risk management. - Selecting/maintaining and integrating the appropriate set of tools, processes, and procedures for testing efficiency and effectiveness. - Developing NFR test scripts, assaults, and scenarios according to identified test objectives. - Implementing frameworks and toolsets to optimize test execution, expand test coverage, and reduce risk. - Producing and maintaining Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for testing performed. - Leading continuous process improvement within the team and at the project level. - Partnering with Technical Project Management in test plan development and status communications. - Monitoring quality risks and escalating when necessary. - Providing regular status reporting consistent with program governance requirements. Qualifications required for this role include: - 10+ years" experience in Non-Functional Testing (Performance and Chaos Engineering). - 1-2 years of experience in handling multiple projects simultaneously. - In-depth knowledge and working experience with tools like OpenText LoadRunner Enterprise, Apache JMeter, Chaos Monkey, Toxi-Proxy, Gremlin, and Azure Chaos studio. - Ability to analyze using industry-standard APM tools like Dynatrace. - Experience with Waterfall and Agile testing methodologies. - Experience with multiple architecture, technology testing, and complex projects. - Experience managing onshore/offshore and in a matrixed model. - Experience collaborating in a global team in a vendor-dependent model. - Experience with coding languages like JAVA will be an added advantage. - Excellent written and oral communication skills.
