Job Description
- As a Deputy Manager at Axium Global Delivery Centre in Andheri, Mumbai, you will play a crucial role in the MEP Design & Engineering Team. Your responsibilities will involve planning, designing, and developing electrical systems for large-scale data centers. It is essential to collaborate with a diverse team to ensure that the electrical designs align with operational needs, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Key Roles and Responsibilities: - Lead and participate in the electrical design of data center projects, encompassing power distribution systems, UPS systems, generator systems, switchgear, distribution boards, and lighting systems. - Manage multiple data center projects concurrently, ensuring on-time delivery, within budget, and meeting top-notch quality standards. - Act as the representative of the company in project meetings with clients, contractors, and stakeholders. - Offer expert knowledge on electrical engineering principles, practices, and technologies pertinent to data center operations. - Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans for prompt delivery. - Perform load calculations and modeling to enhance the performance and efficiency of electrical systems. - Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding electrical design matters throughout the project lifecycle. - Mentor junior engineers and modelers, providing guidance on electrical design techniques and professional growth. - Review and approve the work of team members to ensure precision and clarity. - Generate detailed technical specifications, drawings, and documentation for electrical systems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a unified approach to design and implementation. - Aid in crafting proposals and presentations for potential clients. - Scrutinize project plans, layouts, and specifications to identify and resolve issues. - Engage with clients to comprehend requirements, offer technical guidance, and present design solutions. - Provide technical assistance during construction and commissioning phases. - Supervise project timelines, budgets, and resources to guarantee the successful delivery of electrical components. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. - Minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical design for data center projects. - Proficiency in electrical design software and tools. - Strong knowledge of MEP engineering principles and practices. - Excellent communication and leadership skills. - Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with various stakeholders.
