Job Description
- As an Automation QA Engineer with 8-10 years of experience working in Pune, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar frameworks. - Design and implement automated testing strategies covering functional, regression, integration, and performance testing. - Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and suggest automation opportunities. - Identify, document, and track software defects using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla. - Conduct code reviews and provide feedback on automation code by peers. - Enhance the test automation framework to improve efficiency and coverage. - Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline using tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, or GitLab CI. - Perform manual testing when necessary to ensure comprehensive test coverage. - Analyze test results, generate reports, and provide insights into software quality. - Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies in test automation. Qualifications required for this role include: - Proven experience as an Automation QA Engineer or in a similar software testing role. - Experience with the Playwright framework is a must. - Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies. - Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation. - Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar. - Knowledge of version control systems like Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, or GitLab CI. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong attention to detail to identify subtle issues and bugs. - Good communication and teamwork skills. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. - Prior experience with Playwright for automating web applications is required.,
