Job Description
- You will be a part of Nexie, a company that is working on an agentic AI platform to revolutionize marketing in the ecommerce vertical. As an engineer at Nexie, you will have the opportunity to work directly with the founders, Ashok and Pradeep, who have a track record of building and selling successful startups. Your role will involve building predictive models around customer behavior, designing generative AI workflows, owning A/B testing infrastructure, and contributing to the internal AI reasoning layer. You will collaborate closely with the founders and product leads to experiment and iterate quickly. **Key Responsibilities:** - Build predictive models around customer behavior such as churn, next purchase, and discount affinity - Design generative AI workflows including LLM-based message generation and tone shift - Own A/B testing infrastructure to support AI self-optimization - Help build the internal AI reasoning layer for decision-making processes - Work on embeddings, vector search, prompt orchestration, and feedback loops - Collaborate with the team on experiments and fast shipping of products **Qualifications Required:** - 6-8 years of industry experience in Machine Learning, preferably in ecommerce or consumer SaaS - Strong knowledge of Python, ML frameworks such as scikit-learn, XGBoost, PyTorch, and TensorFlow - Practical experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) like OpenAI or HuggingFace, and prompt chaining - Experience in building models from tabular data like RFM, time series, and LTV - Previous work on Generative AI/LLMs for content generation, ranking, or recommendations - Exposure to experimentation and metric-driven ML iteration In addition to the above qualifications, experience in agentic workflows or AI reasoning systems, familiarity with Shopify/Klaviyo data models, and having shipped ML systems in production with proper evaluation and monitoring would be considered a bonus.,
