Role : Lead Artificial Intelligence Engineer - Generative AI
Location : Baner, Pune (Hybrid)
Shift : 2 : 00 PM to 11 : 00 PM IST
Notice Period : Immediate 15 Days
Experience : 5+ Years
About the Role
We are looking for a Lead Artificial Intelligence Engineer to drive the design and deployment of Generative AI and LLM-powered solutions. The role involves leading a team of AI Engineers and Data Scientists, building production-grade AI systems, and delivering real-world business impact through advanced machine learning and natural language technologies.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and mentor a team of AI Engineers and Data Scientists, fostering innovation and technical excellence.
- Architect, design, and deploy Generative AI and LLM-based applications.
- Take end-to-end ownership of AI initiatives, from research and architecture to deployment and monitoring.
- Build scalable ML pipelines and production workflows aligned with MLOps best practices.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to align AI strategy with
organizational goals.
- Define system architecture integrating AI solutions with cloud and enterprise platforms.
- Ensure high standards of code quality, documentation, and reproducibility.
- Drive continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the team.
Required Qualifications :
- Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in AI/ML, with proven deployment of production systems.
- Strong expertise in Python (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn) and ML frameworks (PyTorch,
TensorFlow).
- Deep knowledge of NLP, LLMs, and Generative AI.
- Experience with web frameworks (Flask, FastAPI, Django).
- Cloud expertise (AWS, GCP, or Azure) with hands-on deployment experience.
- Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL, Git, CI/CD, and containerization (Docker).
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles and MLOps practices.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Exposure to Big Data tools (Apache Spark, Kafka, Kinesis).
- Experience with cloud ML platforms (AWS SageMaker, GCP Vertex AI, Azure ML).
- Understanding of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
