Job Description

    Role Overview: As a Pastry Chef, your main responsibility will be managing the pastry & bakery production schedule to ensure timely delivery of fresh and delicious pastries for service. You will play a crucial role in training, mentoring, and leading pastry & bakery team members, offering guidance and support in pastry & bakery techniques, recipes, and presentation. Additionally, you will be in charge of maintaining inventory, ordering supplies as needed, collaborating with the Executive Chef and other team members to create seasonal menus, and ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations by maintaining a clean and organized work environment. It is crucial to stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and ingredients to excel in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Manage the pastry & bakery production schedule for timely delivery of pastries - Train, mentor, and lead pastry & bakery team members - Maintain inventory and order supplies to optimize stock levels - Collaborate with the Executive Chef and team to create seasonal menus - Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations Qualifications Required: - Previous experience as a Pastry Chef in a 5* hotel or high-end restaurant - Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, baking methods, and flavor profiles - Ability to lead a team and delegate tasks effectively - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards - Knowledge of health and safety regulations and ability to ensure compliance If you are seeking an opportunity to showcase your pastry skills in a dynamic and creative environment, this role is an ideal match for you.
