Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and efficient Data Entry Operator with at least 1 year of experience in the manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining production, inventory, and sales data in digital systems. The role requires basic knowledge of manufacturing operations and the ability to work with speed and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
Enter production, inventory, and order data into ERP or database systems accurately and promptly.
Maintain and update records related to raw materials, finished goods, machine logs, and stock movement.
Review and verify the accuracy of data before entering it into the system.
Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly production and inventory reports.
Coordinate with the production, warehouse, and procurement teams to collect and validate information.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company and customer data.
Scan, organize, and file physical and digital documents as needed.
Perform basic data analysis or formatting using Excel or relevant software.
Identify and correct data entry errors and report inconsistencies to supervisors.
Key Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of experience in a data entry role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
High school diploma or equivalent; a diploma or degree in Commerce, IT, or Administration is a plus.
Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and data entry software or ERP systems-Tally.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
