Job Description

As a .NET Front-End Web Developer at ShyftLabs, your role will involve upgrading an existing web portal design, CSS, and user controls to align with the new branding of the site. You will collaborate with application developers and business owners to bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, defining the application's appearance and functionality. Key Responsibilities: - Develop new user-facing features - Build reusable code and libraries for future use - Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs - Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability - Validate all user input before submitting to the back-end - Collaborate with team members and stakeholders - Provide production support and maintenance for .NET applications - Troubleshoot issues and implement timely resolutions Qualifications Required: - Proficient in developing responsive web applications - Strong understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3 - Basic knowledge of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms like SASS - Proficient in client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks including jQuery - Familiarity with asynchronous request handling, AJAX, and partial page updates - Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues and workarounds - Experience with code versioning tools like Team Foundation Server and Visual Studio - Basic image authoring skills and familiarity with tools like Gimp or Photoshop - Understanding of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks like AngularJS, ReactJS is a plus At ShyftLabs, the company is dedicated to the growth and development of employees.
