Role & responsibilities
Below are the primary duties of a Manufacturing Supervisor:

Oversee daily operations of the respective manufacturing line may solution, emulsion preparation, fill-finish, sterilization, visual inspection, or packingensuring adherence to established procedures.
Plan and coordinate operations effectively to optimize resource utilization. Execute and review batch records in real time within your assigned area, maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
Maintain the facility and work areas in optimal condition, upholding high standards of cleanliness and organization. Ensure compliance with all clean room and change room protocols, as well as personal hygiene requirements. Regularly verify thorough cleaning and/or sanitization of all equipment and areas under your supervision.
Uphold strict controls to prevent cross-contamination or mix-ups during operations. Take part in the qualification and validation of equipment and processes to support robust and compliant manufacturing practices.
Ensure alignment with Pfizers integrity principles throughout every stage of manufacturing. Report all incidentswhether related to safety, quality, or behaviorto the shift in-charge promptly.
Foster a culture of openness and trust within your team, encouraging transparency and ethical conduct. Participate in both internal and external regulatory audits as required.
Motivate and guide your team towards high performance, coaching them to meet and exceed expectations. Remain vigilant for any actions or behaviors that could undermine GMP processes or outcomes, and investigate or report concerns as necessary.
Champion and support ongoing continuous improvement initiatives, contributing actively to efficiency and quality advancements. Ensure complete and accurate documentation for all activities performed.
Identify and escalate deviations or exceptions to management following appropriate procedures. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures, including good data management principles (ALCOA), and provide guidance, advice, and coaching to team members as needed.
