Do you want to innovate, using cutting edge technologies on challenging business problems?Quality Engineering within is about creating an ecosystem where all delivery teams can achieve time-to-market, quality excellence, and higher customer satisfaction within all verticals including core, emerging payments, and value-added services. Unlike similar quality/testing roles in other organizations, Quality Engineering positions require a firm knowledge and hands on software development skills on par with software developers to work closely them to build test automation, test infrastructure, and perform code analysis/review to enable development quality. This position will be responsible for driving strategic leadership and Quality Engineering best practices within team in working with teams to deliver applications and solutions that meet the needs of our stakeholders, including consumers, merchants, issuers and governments.Technology stack is based on Java and includes Spring Framework, Spring boot, RESTful APIs, Postgres, Apache Kafka Development with CI/CD stack such as Chef, Jenkins, Sonar, Checkmarx, Maven. Quality and automation are maintained and improved using Mockito, Selenium, Cucumber, Junit, JMeter.
Collaborate with our development teams to enhance our existing software development processes.
Drive Quality Engineering methodologies and help build high quality software.
Monitor and maintain the automation of regression test-suites on daily basis.
Provides strategic support related to specific applications and systems; assists with implementing service improvements across delivery teams and other functions.
Leads stakeholders through demos, presentations, and prototypes.
Coordinates requirements reviews and performance testing activities; monitors resolutions and retains documentation.
Identifies opportunities to improve effectiveness and time-to-market.
Provides input into performance appraisal processes for junior employees and/or team members.
Must have
Overall, 5-8 years of career experience into Full Stack Development
Strong proficiency in Java and Spring boot framework
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Node.js or C/C++
Experience with Restful API design and development
Experience with PCF or other cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
Hands on experience in front end technologies such as Javascript, HTML/CSS, Angular/React/Vue.js frameworks
Experience with relational databases such as Oracle or PostGreSQL
Experience integrating with third party APIs, including authentication, data mapping, and error handling
Experience leveraging or developing solutions using Information Security-related conceptsCryptography X.509, public key cryptography standards, JWT, hashing, digital signatures
Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies
Ability to work independently and as part of a team Nice to have
External Certification on Cloud and Java should be an added advantage.
