Job Description
- As a Senior Web Applications Developer at Hitachi Vantara, you will be joining the Digital Experience team to deliver implementations on web technologies. **Role Overview:** - Work with business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and analysts to understand business requirements. - Translate these requirements into high-level and detailed technical design. - Perform hands-on design, configuration, and development of web applications. - Develop and unit test solutions. - Support Quality Assurance (QA), deployment, and provide tier 3 support as needed. **Key Responsibilities:** - Knowledge and experience working on Java, Spring Framework (including Spring Security) and RESTful APIs, NodeJS, Angular/React, and AWS. - 6+ years" experience with strong expertise in designing and implementing web applications. - Familiarity with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, and other relevant AWS services. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, Docker, and other DevOps tools. - Good understanding of HTML, CSS, AJAX, and JavaScript Dom manipulation Techniques. - Experience with languages/APIs/frameworks such as JQuery, HTML5, CSS3, XML, XHTML, JavaScript. - Knowledge of modern authentication and authorization mechanisms such as JWT and OAuth. - Experience with databases/servers such as SQL Server, Oracle 19C. - Experience working on AWS, Unix, Linux, and Windows Operating Systems. - Work in an agile, rapid development, and prototyping environment. - Propose technology solutions to enable the business to meet/exceed those goals. - Ability to work with cross-functional teams and lead technical solution design and development efforts. - Ability to drive several tasks in parallel with a focus on resolving issues and completing tasks by due dates. - Pro-active and collaborative approach in resolving technical issues. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. **Qualification Required:** - 6+ years of experience in web application development. - Proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, RESTful APIs, NodeJS, Angular/React, and AWS. - Familiarity with AWS services, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tools, HTML, CSS, AJAX, JavaScript, authentication mechanisms, and databases. - Experience in working with different operating systems. - Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a diverse team environment.,
