Job Description
- You will be part of the software and product innovation team at PwC, focusing on developing cutting-edge software solutions and driving product innovation to meet client needs. Your role involves combining technical expertise with creative thinking to deliver innovative software products and solutions. In testing and quality assurance, your main responsibility will be evaluating systems or software applications to identify defects, errors, or gaps in functionality. You will execute various test cases and scenarios to validate that the system meets specified requirements and performs as expected. Additionally, you will be focused on building meaningful client connections and managing and inspiring others, while deepening your technical expertise and awareness of your strengths. Embracing ambiguity, you will be comfortable in unclear situations, ask questions, and see them as opportunities to grow. - Lead and execute end-to-end testing of mobile applications across Android and iOS platforms. - Design and develop mobile automation frameworks using tools such as Appium, Espresso, XCUITest, or other industry-standard tools. - Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps). - Review and optimize test strategies, test plans, and test cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage. - Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and ensure testability. - Perform regression, performance, usability, and exploratory testing of mobile apps. - Provide technical mentoring to junior QA engineers and assist in capacity planning for automation initiatives. - Work closely with clients to align QA deliverables with business goals and SLAs. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - 6+ years of experience in mobile application testing and test automation. - Strong proficiency in mobile test automation tools such as Appium, Espresso, XCUITest, Detox, or similar. - Proficient in programming/scripting languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, or Swift/Kotlin. - Deep understanding of Agile, Scrum, and DevOps methodologies. - Experience working with mobile device testing platforms like BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or Firebase Test Lab. - Strong knowledge of mobile application architecture, APIs, and debugging tools (e.g., Charles Proxy, Android Studio, Xcode).
