The Opportunity:

We are looking for a qualified UI developer to join our development team. You will be responsible for building our web applications. You should be able to translate our company and customer needs into functional and appealing interactive applications. You will be responsible for building the client-side of our web applications, you should be able to translate the needs into functional and appealing interactive applications in a fast-paced environment We expect you to be curious about things, to have a can do attitude and take initiatives to deliver on your goals and go beyond!

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with other developers, web designers, product managers to develop scalable web applications.
• Write functional requirement documents and documentations.
• Carry out effort estimation and participate in Scrum sprints.
• Take ownership and accountability of your work.
• Stay updated with the latest technology development.
• Maintain and improve the in-house suite of applications.
• Optimize applications for performance and security.
• Design mobile-based features.
• Collaborate with backend developers to improve usability.
• Get feedback from, and build solutions for, users and customers.
• Write functional requirement documents and guides.
• Create quality mock-ups and prototypes.
• Write unit tests for the modules developed and maintain code quality.

Technology We Use: Node Js GraphQL Postgres Bootstrap GCP Svelte Dockers Git

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven work experience as a UI developer.
• ES6, HTML5, CSS3.
• Good understanding of JavaScript core API.
• Framework like Svelte (Preferred) or Angular 2+ or React.or Vue.
• CSS frameworks like Bootstrap (Preferred) or Semantic UI.
• CSS Preprocessor like SCSS (SASS) or LESS or Stylus.
• Bundlers like Webpack or ParcelJS.
• Good communication skills.
• Graduate with relevant experience / certifications.
• Understanding of design aesthetics (UX).
• Experience with Cross Browser Testing and debugging.
• Understanding of principles for good UI/UX.

Preferred Skills Qualifications (Nice to Have):

• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment).
• Knowledge of GraphQL.
• Working knowledge of TypeScript.
• Working knowledge of Dockers.
• Experience in cloud technologies, connecting to instances, buckets etc.
• Managing production level system, debugging.
• Experience of developing Progressive.
• Good knowledge of security or authentication mechanisms like JWT or OAuth etc.
