Job Description

As an ACI Card & Merchant Management Developer at Cognizant, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of technical solutions using Unix Cobol and CMM Back office. Your role involves ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives by overseeing the technical aspects of projects. Your key responsibilities include: - Providing technical guidance and mentorship to team members for skill development and knowledge sharing. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Ensuring quality and performance of developed solutions through rigorous testing and validation. - Monitoring and maintaining the health of the technical environment, addressing any issues promptly. - Developing and maintaining technical documentation to support ongoing maintenance and future enhancements. - Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of technical processes. - Staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the team remains innovative. - Communicating effectively with stakeholders to provide project updates and address concerns. - Managing technical risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as needed. - Ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all technical activities. - Fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment that encourages creativity and innovation. Qualifications required for this role: - Strong technical skills in Unix Cobol and CMM Back office. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model. - Proactive approach to identifying and addressing technical challenges. - Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
