Job Description
Work shift: 4:30 PM to 1:30 AM IST
The Oracle Retail QA Tester will be responsible for validating the functionality, performance, and integration of Oracle Retail applications along with the peripheral systems. The role involves designing and executing test cases, identifying defects, and ensuring the quality and stability of retail systems in alignment with business requirements and Oracle best practices
Here's how you'll contribute:
- Analyze business and functional requirements related to Oracle RMS and MFCS modules.
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and system testing across Oracle Retail applications.
- Validate data flows and integrations between RMS, MFCS, and other Oracle Retail modules (e.g., ReSA, RPM).
- Identify, document, and track defects using test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and support teams to resolve issues and ensure test coverage.
- Participate in test planning, estimation, and status reporting activities.
- Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and provide post-implementation validation.
- Ensure compliance with QA standards, methodologies, and best practices.
Skills required to contribute:
5 + years of experience in Manual Testing -
- Good knowledge on SQL, Test Data preparation, and validation of data and Integration flows
- Ability to create detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts based on functional and technical specifications.
- Proficiency in using defect tracking tools such as JIRA and ability to log, track, and retest defects efficiently.
- Experience in executing functional, regression, integration, and system testing
- Experience in Retail domain testing.
- Individual contributor ready to work in 4:30pm to 1:30 am IST.
- Knowledge on Purchase Orders, Inventory movement, ReSA, Integration flows is a plus.
