Background
Client is looking for a General Manager-Product Management (GMPM) to lead a team of 10+ product managers / designers. The team's responsibility is to manage the software products that power client's business. The GMPM will have overall responsibility and accountability for all deliverables of the product / design team
Core competencies
- Exceptional leadership and management skills
- Experience in building consumer facing websites and / or apps that saw massive adoption
- Demonstrated ability to hire, build and manage high performance teams
- Entreprenurial mindset - Ability to iterate fast and deliver on-time results when business needs are evolving-
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle
- Exceptional analytical skills
- Knowledge of e-commerce space in India
- Knowledge of healthcare space (Optional)
Key Job Functions :
- Define the product roadmap-
- Closely work with engineering to define implementable product requirements and design
- Closely work with business functions (marketing, field force, supply chain, delivery chain) to understand their needs and build/enhance the products
- Responsible for product adoption and success
- Responsible for market research
- Responsible for competitive analysis
- Have Co-ownership for profit and loss of a business function.
Education:
UG: B.Tech/B.E. - Any Specialization, Computers
PG: MBA/PGDM - Any Specialization
