Job Description
- In this role at Cognizant, your main responsibilities will include: - Undertaking the financial structuring and analysis of deals to meet the business objectives - Crafting the pricing model, assessing deal P&L, cash flow, metrics, and financial viability, and highlighting potential risks throughout the bid lifecycle - Partnering with and leading the deal team in analyzing and recommending deal-specific financial strategies and solutions - Supporting client negotiations of financial/commercial terms to enable signing contracts delivering approved returns - Collaborating with deal teams, FP&A, Tax, technical accounting, and other areas as necessary - Contributing to financial materials for internal deal governance - Compiling and maintaining work products/aids for reporting KPIs, progress, and metrics to leadership and stakeholders - Supporting compliance with Cognizant's processes and policies, including approved toolsets - Validating commercial/financial Terms and Conditions to evaluate and track risk to revenue and margins - Driving the use of standardized tools and methodologies - Ensuring best practices are consistently applied - Promoting and supporting regional and global pricing initiatives - Ensuring internal customer satisfaction with the pricing team's performance - Aligning the overall pricing strategy with business needs and imperatives Qualifications required for this role include: - 14+ years of experience in pricing/Finance, with prior experience in pricing deals - Good business acumen and ability to interact with multiple stakeholders from various units - Ability to deal with ambiguity and possess leadership, negotiation, and presentation skills - Understanding of Finance functional areas impacting revenue recognition, pricing, and contract Terms & Conditions - Ability to coach, mentor, and guide associates in career development plans - Good understanding of Excel and related tools to provide effective support for large and strategic transactions - Experience in interacting with clients to present commercial propositions and negotiate contractual terms and conditions If you have past experience working overseas, it will be beneficial for stakeholder management.,
