Job Description
- As a Consultant, PHP Full Stack Developer at Genpact, you will play a crucial role in developing both front-end and back-end components of web applications. Your expertise in PHP frameworks like Laravel or Symfony, along with modern front-end technologies such as Vue.js, React, or vanilla JavaScript, will be essential for delivering high-quality solutions. You will collaborate with product managers and other developers to optimize application performance, scalability, and security. Key Responsibilities: - Build and consume RESTful APIs and third-party integrations - Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices - Develop and maintain front-end components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript - Work with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL - Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and deployment processes - Develop and maintain dynamic web applications using PHP and JavaScript - Collaborate with designers, product owners, and other developers to deliver features on time - Debug, test, and fix bugs or performance issues across the stack - Contribute to team knowledge sharing and participate in code reviews Qualifications Required: Minimum Qualifications / Skills: - Professional experience in web development - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience) - Experience delivering projects in a collaborative, Agile environment Preferred Qualifications/ Skills: Back-End: - PHP 7/8 with Laravel / Symfony / CodeIgniter (or similar) - MySQL / PostgreSQL - REST API design and integration Front-End: - JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3 - Front-end frameworks like Vue.js, React.js, or Alpine.js - Responsive UI frameworks (Bootstrap, TailwindCSS) Tools & Platforms: - Git / GitHub / GitLab - Composer, NPM/Yarn - Docker (basic understanding) - Postman, Swagger (API testing) (Note: Job location is in India-Hyderabad, and the job is full-time with educational requirements of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent.),
