Job Description
- As the Vice President / Head of Delivery - Azure & Data Engineering at Genpact, you will be responsible for driving the strategy, execution, and governance of large-scale Azure and data engineering programs across multiple clients. Your expertise in enterprise cloud data transformation, delivery governance, innovation, and client management will be crucial in ensuring successful execution of complex legacy-to-Azure migrations and greenfield implementations. Key Responsibilities: - Own and drive end-to-end delivery of Azure & Data Engineering programs across multiple geographies & industry verticals. - Establish a best-in-class data delivery framework for scalability, security, and efficiency in Azure-based transformations. - Act as a trusted advisor to C-level executives, driving customer success, innovation, and business value. - Lead executive-level stakeholder engagement to ensure alignment with business strategy and IT transformation roadmaps. - Drive account growth, support pre-sales, solutioning, and go-to-market strategies for Azure and data-driven initiatives. - Ensure customer satisfaction and establish long-term strategic partnerships with enterprise clients. - Shape the organization's Data & AI strategy by promoting the adoption of Azure, AI/ML, real-time analytics, and automation in enterprise data solutions. - Establish data accelerators, reusable frameworks, and cost optimization strategies to improve efficiency and profitability. - Build and mentor a high-performing global team of cloud data professionals, including data engineers, architects, and analytics experts. - Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation by driving upskilling and certifications in Azure, AI/ML, and Cloud Data technologies. - Stay ahead of emerging trends in Azure, cloud data engineering, and analytics to drive innovation. Qualifications we seek in you! Minimum Qualifications: - Experience in IT Services, with a background in data engineering, Azure, and cloud transformation leadership. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Masters or MBA preferred). Preferred Qualifications/ Skills: - Proven track record in delivering large-scale, multimillion-dollar Azure & data engineering programs. - Deep understanding of the Azure ecosystem, including Data Sharing, Streams, Tasks, Performance Tuning, and Cost Optimization. - Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and data engineering pipelines. - Proficiency in modern data architectures, AI/ML, IoT, and edge analytics. - Experience in managing global, multi-disciplinary teams across multiple geographies. - Exceptional leadership and executive presence, with the ability to influence C-suite executives and key decision-makers. Preferred Certifications: - Azure Solutions Architect Expert/Advanced Certification. - Cloud Certifications (AWS Certified Data Analytics, Cloud Architect, or equivalent). - PMP, ITIL, or SAFe Agile certifications for delivery governance.,
