Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and proactive SAP Solution Manager (SolMan) Consultant with over 3 years of hands-on experience, specializing in ChaRM (Change Request Management) and a solid background in SAP Basis administration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring and supporting end-to-end SolMan functionalities and ensuring system integrity in a dynamic, global IT environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support SAP Solution Manager implementation and configuration with a strong focus on ChaRM (Change Request Management).
- Configure, manage, and maintain SolMan functionalities including System Monitoring, Technical Monitoring, EWA, LMDB, Solution Documentation, and Test Management.
- Manage and coordinate change request processes using ChaRM, including workflow configuration, transport management, and integration with CTS+.
- Provide technical support for SAP Basis activities such as system administration, monitoring, user management, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system upgrades, patches, and transport management.
- Ensure documentation and compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Participate in rotational shift schedules to support global operations and critical incident handling.
- Engage with clients and technical teams to deliver solutions in a hybrid work model.
Required Skills:
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with SAP Solution Manager (SolMan).
- Proven expertise in ChaRM (Change Request Management) design, implementation, and support.
- Strong background in SAP Basis administration, including system performance, transport management, and system landscape configuration.
- Experience with System Monitoring, Technical Monitoring, and Solution Documentation within SolMan.
- Good understanding of SAP ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI/PO systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays if needed.
- Comfortable with a hybrid work culture (remote + on-site as required).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SolMan 7.2 or higher.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.).
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
- Certification in SAP SolMan or SAP Basis is an advantage.
