Job Description
KPI Partners is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Azure Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data solutions on the Azure platform. Your expertise will play a crucial role in transforming our data into actionable insights, contributing to our mission of delivering high-quality business intelligence solutions to our clients. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement robust data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure SQL Database.
- Work with large datasets to ingest, process, and analyze data from various sources.
- Utilize Azure services for data storage and processing, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with data scientists and business analysts to understand data needs and deliver solutions that meet requirements.
- Ensure data quality, security, and compliance by implementing best practices in data governance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, providing support for end-users and stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure technologies and methodologies, contributing to continuous improvement within the team.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior data engineers, promoting knowledge sharing and collaboration. Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on Azure technologies.
- Proficiency in Azure services such as Azure Data Lake, Azure Functions, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, SQL, or Scala.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. What We Offer:
