Job Description

Role & responsibilities

The incumbent will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following key deliverables:

Design, build, and maintain Teradata data solutions.

Developing and implementing Bteq, Fload, Mload Scripts, Informatica Workflows and Shell Scripting.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data solutions meet business requirements.

Ensure data quality and integrity.

Monitor and optimize data solutions for performance and scalability.

Develop and maintain documentation for data solutions.

Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related stream.

Experience

Minimum 5 + years of total IT experience

Strong understanding of Teradata utilities and Shell scripting

Knowledge and Competencies

Minimum 3 yrs. of experience who has knowledge on designing, implementing, testing ETL solutions.

Strong knowledge on Teradata, SQL, Informatica, Shell scripting.

A highly effective communicator, both orally and in writing Problem-solving and architecting skills in cases of unclear requirements.

Extensive experience on ETL and Impact analysis.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
