Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Software Development Lead with deep expertise in Siemens Teamcenter to join our engineering team in Bengaluru. This role requires strong technical leadership, hands-on customization skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally to deliver robust and scalable PLM solutions.
As a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Teamcenter, you will play a pivotal role in guiding the team technically, mentoring junior members, and ensuring successful delivery of projects across the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as SME in Siemens Teamcenter and related PLM technologies.
- Lead a team of developers and guide decision-making on technical challenges.
- Customize and configure Teamcenter using BMIDE, ITK, RAC, and SOA.
- Define and manage complex Teamcenter data models, product structures, and constraints.
- Configure and customize Active Workspace Client (AWC) 6.3 and above.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Provide Level-3 support for Teamcenter issues and cross-functional queries.
- Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and technical training for the team.
- Ensure timely delivery of project milestones and adherence to delivery schedules.
- Contribute to solution architecture and enforce PLM best practices.
Technical Skills Required:
Core Expertise:
- Siemens Teamcenter (v10 and above)
- Teamcenter Customization: BMIDE, ITK, RAC, SOA
- Active Workspace 6.3+ (Customization and Configuration)
- PLM Administration: FMS, Variant Rules, 2-tier & 4-tier architecture
Programming/Scripting: C, C++, Java, Shell scripting
Tools & Platforms: Eclipse, JIRA, Confluence, GitHub/SVN, CI/CD, DevOps
Database: SQL, Oracle
Modules: Organization, Project, Access Manager, Workflow, Structure, TC Quality, NX Easy Planner, MPP
Integration Experience: CAD (CATIA, Creo), Manufacturing, ERP (SAP and others)
Migration & Multi-site: PLMXML, IPS Loader, TCXML, Teamcenter Multisite, Site Consolidation
