Job Description
KPI Partners is seeking a skilled Application Development Manager with expertise in Python to lead our development teams across multiple locations. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software applications while ensuring that projects are completed on time and meet quality standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and mentor a team of Python developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute application development projects from conception to deployment, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
- Oversee code reviews, testing, and implementation to ensure the highest quality of software deliverables.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the development team.
- Implement best practices in software development methodologies to optimize productivity and code quality.
- Facilitate communication between development teams and other departments to ensure smooth project execution. Qualifications:
- A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in application development with a strong focus on Python programming.
- Prior experience in a management or leadership role, preferably in software development.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Experience with cloud computing environments and deployment is a plus.
