About this Role
The Risk, Assurance and Controls (RAC) team at Vodafone Group plays a pivotal role as the 'second line of defence'. This position sits within the Second Line Assurance team and is responsible for conducting quality reviews and end-to-end testing of controls related to high-risk Vodafone policies and processes. The role ensures that controls are accurately designed and effectively operating to mitigate potential risks. It involves reviewing evidence, understanding processes, reporting outcomes, and tracking mitigation actions. The individual will also provide consistent feedback to Policy Champions and leadership across Group and local markets, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and strong stakeholder collaboration.

What you will do
- Conduct testing of controls across various policies, ensuring accuracy and effectiveness
- Maintain high standards of quality and timeliness in all assurance activities
- Serve as the primary contact for Policy Champions regarding risk and compliance controls
- Identify and implement improvements to the review process
- Provide regular, constructive feedback to Policy Champions and Compliance Officers
- Build and contribute to a strong risk community within the second line of defence
- Monitor and track mitigation actions to ensure timely closure of identified gaps
- Prepare clear and concise reports for management and compliance boards
What skills you need
- Proven experience in control testing and quality assurance
- Strong understanding of compliance policies and procedures
- Ability to identify and promote best practices
- Effective stakeholder management and communication across geographies
- Project management capabilities
- Chartered Accountant (preferred), Company Secretary, or other recognized professional auditing/legal qualification
- Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in quality assurance and compliance management
