Job Description
What you will do
- Lead SAP ABAP and Advanced ABAP development including RICEFW objects, OO ABAP, CDS Views, RAP, OData, AMDP, workflows, and performance tuning.
- Deliver full-stack SAP solutions integrating Fiori/UI5 frontend, ABAP backend, and SAP BTP services.
- Own solution design, proposal creation, effort estimation, and VROM/VMC submissions.
- Drive automation and innovation initiatives to enhance business processes.
- Manage and mentor a team of approximately 10 technical consultants, ensuring quality delivery and progress tracking.
- Represent technical delivery in governance forums including TDA, ITPM, SPDA/security, and change management.
- Ensure proactive risk identification and mitigation strategies.
- Act as the primary technical contact for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support hiring, capability development, and mentoring within the technical team.
Who you are
- A professional with 12+ years of SAP experience, specialising in ABAP and Advanced ABAP (OO ABAP, Enhancements, BADIs, BAPIs, CDS, RAP, OData, AMDP, workflows).
- Experienced in full lifecycle SAP implementations and large-scale programme deliveries.
- Skilled in full-stack SAP development including SAP BTP, Fiori/UI5, and integration scenarios.
- Proficient in SAP PI/CPI for SAP and non-SAP connectivity.
- Strong in solution design, automation, and effort estimation.
- Proven leadership in managing teams of 10+ members and navigating delivery governance processes.
- Excellent communicator with strong stakeholder management and presentation skills.
- Familiar with ITPM, SPDA, and change management governance.
