Job Description
About the Role:
We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to own end-to-end functional and API quality for our web and mobile-web platforms. The platform manages campaigns across Meta, Google, TikTok, Bing, and more, ingesting performance data to deliver accurate reporting and insights. You will collaborate with product managers, developers, and release managers to ensure smooth campaign workflows, accurate data parity, and robust defect management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and regression suites for web and mobile-web platforms.
- Conduct manual functional testing across UI and APIs, covering happy paths, edge cases, and negative flows.
- Test REST APIs using Postman, Swagger; validate authentication, pagination, rate limits, and status codes.
- Perform data parity checks to reconcile metrics and investigate discrepancies across platforms.
- Conduct cross-browser/device and accessibility testing.
- Own bug triage, defect reporting, and collaborate with developers for timely resolution.
- Partner with Release Manager for UAT sign-off and quality gates.
- Mentor junior QA engineers on testing best practices.
Must-Have Skills:
- 7- 8 years in manual QA with strong API testing expertise.
- Hands-on with Postman, Swagger, REST/JSON APIs.
- Strong UI testing experience across web and mobile platforms.
- Familiarity with deployment strategies (feature flags, canary, blue-green).
- Jira for issue management, Git basics, CI/CD awareness.
- Excellent written communication and defect reporting skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- SQL proficiency (BigQuery preferred) for data validation.
- Exposure to event-driven systems/logs (Kafka, Pub/Sub).
- Familiarity with monitoring tools: Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, Sentry.
- Experience with contract testing frameworks
