Role & responsibilities
Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated QA Engineer with hands-on experience in Python and Selenium to join our testing team. The ideal candidate should have strong automation testing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Selenium.
- Execute test cases (manual and automated) and analyze results.
- Identify, document, and track bugs through defect management tools.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other QA engineers to ensure proper test coverage.
- Contribute to building and enhancing the test automation framework.
- Perform regression, functional, and integration testing as required.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in Selenium WebDriver with Python.
- Knowledge of automation frameworks (Pytest/Unittest or similar).
- Experience in writing and executing SQL queries for data validation.
- Good understanding of software testing concepts, SDLC, and STLC.
- Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Good to Have:
- Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins/GitHub Actions.
- Knowledge of API testing (Postman/RestAssured).
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
