Job Title: Senior Data Analyst
Location: Gurugram & Bangalore
Experience: 4+ Years
Budget: Up to 13 LPA
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst with strong data analysis and data mapping expertise to bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SQL, strong knowledge of relational data models, and proficiency in BI tools like Power BI and/or Tableau.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather and analyze data requirements.
- Perform data mapping between source and target systems across various projects.
- Write complex SQL queries to validate, transform, and analyze large datasets.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications for BI reports and dashboards.
- Create and maintain reports/dashboards using Power BI and/or Tableau.
- Support data integration efforts and ensure data consistency across systems.
- Identify gaps, trends, and data quality issues to support decision-making.
- Document functional specifications, process flows, and data mappings clearly.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 48 years of experience as a Data Analyst.
- Strong hands-on expertise in SQL (joins, aggregations, subqueries, CTEs, etc.).
- Solid experience in data mapping, data lineage, and understanding of relational databases.
- Proficient in Power BI and/or Tableau for building and analyzing dashboards.
- Experience working with large datasets and multiple data sources.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure, Snowflake, AWS).
- Familiarity with ETL tools and data warehousing concepts.
- Domain knowledge in [e.g., Finance, Healthcare, Retail] is a plus.
