Job Description
- As a Manager SCM, your role will involve identifying and driving continuous improvement opportunities to streamline processes and enhance accuracy and efficiency within operations. Your key responsibilities will include: - Leading Production Planning (PPC) and demonstrating strength in Materials Management, Vendor Management, Procurement Sourcing, Stores/Warehouse Management, and Pan India Logistic Management. - Overseeing 3PL/outsourcing Warehouse activities and monitoring third-party activities in this domain. - Managing multiple warehouses and facilitating stock replenishment between them. - Coordinating local distribution, Route planning, and Milk run activities. - Collaborating closely with the Planning team to achieve 100% order fulfillment on time. - Working with the Purchase and Material planning teams to ensure timely availability of materials for smooth production. - Implementing cost-controlling strategies and exploring new vendor opportunities. - Conducting Vendor evaluations and maintaining strong vendor relationships. - Utilizing SCM Inventory Management and ERP knowledge for efficient operations. - Maintaining detailed records, generating reports, and interpreting legal documents like contracts or agreements. Key Skills required for this role include: - Strong Negotiation skills - Ability to develop and onboard new vendors - Proficiency in documentation management - Excellent communication abilities To qualify for this role, you should have 10-15 years of experience and hold a Graduate degree, preferably MBA (Supply chain).
