- Role Overview: You will be joining a dynamic team as a Ruby on Rails + Cybersecurity Engineer, where your primary focus will be on developing secure, scalable, and AI-driven software solutions while ensuring adherence to cybersecurity best practices. This role involves working at the intersection of cybersecurity, AI, and software engineering to build the future of secure AI-integrated development. Key Responsibilities: - Develop secure, scalable, and AI-driven software solutions using Ruby on Rails for backend development, API design, and scalable application architecture. - Ensure adherence to cybersecurity best practices, including knowledge of OWASP Top 10, secure coding practices, and compliance standards. - Utilize additional technical skills such as SQL for query optimization and database design, Python for automation and AI/ML integration, Java for backend services and enterprise application security, and JavaScript for front-end or full-stack development. - Apply strong knowledge of secure coding principles, vulnerability assessment, and compliance frameworks for cybersecurity best practices. - Conduct threat modeling, penetration testing, and secure application development for application security and secure coding. - Demonstrate problem-solving skills and algorithmic thinking to diagnose issues, optimize solutions, and enhance system architecture. - Utilize prompt engineering and AI tools like ChatGPT or similar tools to accelerate development while considering AI biases and security risks. - Exhibit expertise in writing clean, modular, and test-driven code for software development and code analysis. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 5 years of experience in Ruby on Rails and cybersecurity. - Proficiency in programming skills with a focus on Ruby on Rails and cybersecurity expertise. - Additional technical skills preferred in SQL, Python, Java, and JavaScript. - Strong knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, application security, and secure coding. - Experience in problem-solving, algorithmic thinking, and prompt engineering. - Ideal candidate profiles include Cybersecurity Engineer with Strong Ruby on Rails Expertise, Application Security Engineer with AI/ML Exposure, and Machine Learning Engineer with a Cybersecurity Background.
