Job Description
- Role Overview: As a member of the Support organization at Oracle, your main focus will be to provide post-sales support and solutions to the Oracle customer base. You will act as an advocate for customer needs by resolving post-sales non-technical customer inquiries through phone and electronic means. Additionally, you will address technical questions related to the use of and troubleshooting for Oracle's Electronic Support Services. Serving as a primary point of contact for customers, you will play a crucial role in maintaining customer relationships with Support and offering advice and assistance to internal Oracle employees on various customer situations and escalated issues. Key Responsibilities: - Provide excellence in customer service support, diagnosis, replication, and resolution of Functional and Technical issues for complex and critical service requests. - Utilize your strong knowledge of financial business processes and concepts to offer implementation advice to customers on meeting their business scenarios using Oracle EBS Financials. - Hands-on implementation/support experience in EBS Financial Modules like GL, AP, AR, FA, IBY, PA, and CM, with additional knowledge of Costing (discrete/process) being advantageous. - Demonstrate strong technical debugging skills using SQL, PLSQL, Reports, etc., and problem-solving abilities. - Engage in strong customer interactions, service orientation, and operations management to understand and respond to customers" critical situations effectively. - Collaborate with peers within/across teams, maintain documentation for various activities, and continually improve processes and tools. Qualification Required: - A minimum of 6+ years of techno-functional experience with Oracle Financials and at least 2 years of leadership experience in customer-facing roles. - Skills in EBS R12 techno-functional areas within Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, CM, FA, IBY, PA, Costing). - Strong technical skills in debugging using SQL, PL/SQL, Forms, Reports, XML/BI Publisher, and Workflow.
