Job Description
- As a Backend Support Executive for Assets Lifecycle Management at Capgemini, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth and seamless backend support for asset management. Your responsibilities will include: - Inspecting new material deliveries before they are taken over - Ensuring entry of newly procured assets into the system within 2 working days and generating asset codes - Allocating/surrendering assets within defined SLA and updating in the Asset database promptly - Maintaining an updated inventory of all assets with user details in the Asset Management tool regularly - Completing physical verification and generating variance reports based on verified data - Providing accurate stock details for forecasting new joiners and operational activities In the area of Software Engineering, your responsibilities will involve: - Applying scientific methods to analyze and solve software engineering problems - Developing, maintaining, and optimizing software solutions/applications - Exercising original thought and judgment while supervising other software engineers - Collaborating with team members and stakeholders to deliver software engineering solutions - Building skills and expertise in software engineering disciplines Your primary skills should include proficiency in: - Global asset management tools like Service Now Service Central/BMC Remedy - Understanding basic ITIL terminology - Knowledge of MS Excel for reporting and MS Outlook for email communication Capgemini, a global business and technology transformation partner, is dedicated to accelerating organizations" transition to a digital and sustainable world.
