Job Summary:


We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager with a strong background in Business Development within the IT industry and People Management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing key client accounts, driving business growth through new opportunities, and leading a team to achieve sales and delivery objectives. This role requires excellent relationship-building skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage and mentor teams effectively.


Account Management:

  • Manage and grow strategic client accounts in the IT domain.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Ensure timely delivery of solutions and services to clients.

Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the IT services/products sector.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and new areas of growth.
  • Collaborate with pre-sales, technical, and delivery teams to develop customised solutions.

People Management:

  • Lead and manage a team of account executives, business development associates, or sales support staff.
  • Set clear goals and KPIs for team members and monitor performance.
  • Mentor and train team members to improve effectiveness and productivity.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 58 years of relevant experience in account management, business development, and team leadership in the IT industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of IT services, solutions, or products.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to manage and develop people.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with global clients or enterprise accounts.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
