Job Description:
Role Overview
We are seeking highly skilled QA Automation Engineers with strong domain expertise in Financial Crime Compliance (AML, CDD, Watchlist Monitoring, Transaction Screening, Payment Fraud) and hands-on experience in building and executing automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with QA Manager, Business Analysts, and Developers to understand requirements and design effective test automation strategies.
- Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts/frameworks using Java + Selenium
- Build robust test data for AML scenarios, including CDD onboarding, Watchlist Monitoring, Transaction Screening, and Payment Fraud rules.
- Execute functional, regression, and integration tests for real-time and batch transaction flows.
- Support UAT and production readiness testing ensuring regulatory compliance and zero critical defect leakage.
- Work in Agile (Scrum) environment delivering high-quality automation coverage
- Provide status updates, metrics, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the QA team.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5 to 8 years of experience in QA Automation with a strong focus on Java + Selenium-based frameworks. Good to have PlayWright.
- Hands-on experience in BDD/TDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber, TestNG, JUnit).
- Experience in financial domain testing, specifically:
- AML Transaction Monitoring (TM)
- Customer Due Diligence (CDD)
- Watchlist Monitoring (WLM), Transaction Screening (TS), and Name Screening (NS)
- Payment Fraud Detection modules
- Familiarity with Actimize or similar platforms is a strong plus.
- Strong understanding of API testing (REST/SOAP), data validation (SQL), and test data preparation for high-volume scenarios.
- Use of AI in testing, LLMs, Agentic AI etc.
- Knowledge of Defect Lifecycle, RCA, and working with client defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM).
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and mentor junior team members.
Nice to Have
- Generative AI, Agentic AI, Use of LLMs, Playwright
- Experience in performance testing or exposure to non-functional testing.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline integration for automation execution.
- Exposure to regulatory compliance testing (FinCEN SAR, Sanctions Screening, KYC/CDD workflows).
