Sr. Software Engineer @ Tech Mahindra

Job Description

• Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Software Developer with a strong background in Mendix to join our dynamic team at TechM Pune Sharda
• The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in software development, with a proven track record of delivering high quality applications using the Mendix platform
• You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that meet our clients needs while adhering to best practices and industry standards

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement software applications using Mendix
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather and analyze requirements
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
• Debug and troubleshoot applications to ensure optimal performance
• Maintain and enhance existing applications based on user feedback and changing requirements
• Document development processes, code changes, and application features
• Stay updated with the latest Mendix features and best practices
• Provide technical support and training to end users as needed

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong expertise in Mendix development
• Proficient in Java and JavaScript
• Experience with RESTful APIs and web services
• Solid understanding of database management systems, particularly SQL
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Preferred Skills:Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools
• Familiarity with front end technologies like HTML, CSS, and React
• Experience in mobile application development using Mendix

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5-7 years of experience in software development, with a focus on Mendix
• Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
