AEM Developer (Technical Lead)

Role summary

• Hiring for AEM Developer / Technical Lead (AEM 6.x / 6.5) to design, develop and optimize AEM Sites, Assets, Forms and AEM Guides (DITA). Focus on platform, integrations, performance and headless/SPA use-cases.

• Location : All Hexaware Location

Core responsibilities

• Architect, develop and deploy AEM components, templates, content fragments and Guides (DITA).
• Build and customize AEM Guides workflows, DITA-OT integration and XML-based multi-channel outputs.
• Implement custom AEM workflows, Sling/OSGi services, Sling Models and Java-based customizations.
• Optimize performance: JCR/Oak indexing, Dispatcher tuning, asset renditions and page rendering.
• Integrate AEM with Adobe Experience Cloud and third-party systems via REST/GraphQL/event-driven patterns.
• Manage Author/Publish instances, CRX package management and CI/CD (Maven, Git, Cloud Manager).
• Monitor and troubleshoot using New Relic, Splunk/ELK and observability tools.
• Enforce code quality: code reviews, static analysis, tests and security best practices.

• Adobe Experience Manager (AEM 6.x / 6.5), AEM Guides (DITA)
• Apache Sling, OSGi, JCR / Jackrabbit Oak, Dispatcher
• Java / J2EE, Servlets, OSGi bundles, Sling Models
• AEM SPA Editor, Content Services, GraphQL, React, HTML/CSS/JS
• RESTful APIs, microservices integrations (Spring Boot/K8s/OpenShift)
• CI/CD (Maven/Gradle, Git), Unit testing (JUnit)
• Monitoring tools: New Relic, Splunk, ELK

Nice-to-have

• Experience with Oxygen XML Editor, DITA-OT, AMS-hosted AEM, Cloud Manager, GitHub CopilotRole & responsibilitiesRole & responsibilities
