Job Description
- We are seeking a skilled and motivated Oracle APEX Senior Lead to join our dynamic IT team
- As an Oracle APEX Lead, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-level applications using Oracle Application Express (APEX)
- You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that align with our business requirements and technology goals
- Design and develop scalable and maintainable Oracle APEX applications based on business requirements and specifications.
- Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather and define application requirements.
- Create user-friendly and intuitive interfaces that enhance user experience and productivity.
- Develop custom reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to present complex information in a clear and actionable manner.
- Implement data integration and manipulation within APEX applications, utilizing SQL, PL/SQL, and other relevant technologies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to APEX applications, including debugging and performance optimization.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to Oracle APEX development and application design.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
- Collaborate with the database team to ensure proper data modeling and optimization for APEX applications.
- Document technical specifications, user guides, and any other relevant documentation.
- Maintain and support existing APEX applications, including addressing bug fixes and implementing enhancements.
- Keep track of project timelines and deliverables, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Proven experience of 10+ years in designing and developing Oracle APEX applications.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for database development and manipulation.
- Proven experience of 5+ years in Agile Scrum Methodology.
- Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
- Knowledge of software development best practices, coding standards, and design patterns.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and project requirements.
- Prior experience in working on projects that involve integration with Oracle databases is a plus.
- Oracle APEX certifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
Nice-to-have skills
Functional experience in pharma domain.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related science field or equivalent
