Job Description
Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior GST Executive to manage comprehensive GST compliance activities, including return filings, reconciliations, audits, and departmental coordination. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of GST law, hands-on experience in compliance, and proficiency in Excel. Key Responsibilities: Timely preparation and filing of GST returns GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9/9C, and others GST Reconciliations GSTR-2B vs Purchase Register, GSTR-1 vs GSTR-3B, Books vs Portal Ensure proper accounting and tracking of Input Tax Credit (ITC) with adherence to GST rules Generate and manage e-Invoices and e-Way Bills Handle GST audits, assessments, and departmental queries/notices Maintain and update GST-related documentation and compliance records Liaise with internalteams, vendors, and consultants for compliance and clarification Prepare reports and MIS for management review using advanced Excel functions Required Skills: In-depth knowledge of GST law and practical compliance experience Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Conditional Formatting, Data Validation, etc.) Experience working on ERP systems like Tally, SAP, Zoho, or similar platforms Good communication and coordination skills Ability to analyze data and solve problems independently Strong organizational and documentation skills Preferred Candidate: CA Inter / CA Drop-out with strong GST exposure Prior experience in a CA firm orindustry GST role Proven track record of handling end-to-end GST compliance for medium to large enterprises Location: Work at client site Indian overseas Bank, Chennai Hiring Company: Figment (enrollment), with deployment at client location.
