Job Description
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of AI-enabled applications using modern tools and frameworks.
- Support the implementation and integration of AI/ML models into production systems under guidance from senior engineers.
- Contribute to backend development using Python or Java frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, Spring), focusing on maintainability and performance.
- Build and enhance front-end interfaces using React.js to support user-centric design.
- Participate in the development of cloud-native applications, leveraging public cloud platforms (e.g., GCP).
- Collaborate with team members to understand business requirements and translate them into technical tasks.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and Agile ceremonies.
- Assist in writing unit tests and supporting test automation efforts.
- Help monitor application performance and contribute to issue resolution and debugging.
- Stay current with foundational AI/ML concepts and software engineering practices.
- Demonstrate flexibility in work assignments and contribute to team deliverables.
- Adhere to company policies and participate in continuous learning and development.
Required Qualifications
- 23 years of software development experience.
- Hands-on experience with backend development using Python or Java.
- Hands-on experience to front-end development using React.js or similar frameworks.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (preferably GCP) and basic cloud-native development practices.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and basic integration patterns.
- Exposure to DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, or Terraform is a plus.
- Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts and interest in learning more (e.g., NLP, computer vision, LLMs).
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) or NoSQL systems.
- Ability to work in Agile teams and contribute to sprint deliverables.
- Experience/Familiarity with coding assistant tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) and a strong willingness to adopt them in daily development work.
- Familiarity with building AI agents using Google ADK is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn from senior team members.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
