Job Description
- As a Signal Processing / Data Scientist at Respirit Healthcare Pvt Ltd, you will play a key role in developing algorithms that convert real-time turbine sensor data into clinically validated spirometry values (FEV1, FVC, PEF, etc.). Your responsibilities will include: - Leading the development of algorithms for volume integration from airflow data - Cleaning, filtering, and denoising time-series signals using techniques like Butterworth filters, Savitzky-Golay, etc. - Developing methods for calculating spirometric indices per ATS/ERS guidelines - Validating algorithm output with reference spirometer data - Collaborating with embedded engineers and pulmonologists - Creating diagnostic visualizations such as flow-volume and volume-time curves The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in Python, NumPy, SciPy, Matplotlib, and experience in digital signal processing, curve fitting, and time-series analysis. Familiarity with biomedical data (spirometry) is a bonus, and knowledge of MATLAB, TensorFlow/PyTorch (for ML enthusiasts), and experience in clinical data validation are optional but desirable.
