Job Description

    As a Junior Sous Chef - Food Production at The Postcard on the Arabian Sea, you will play a crucial role in managing daily food preparation while upholding the highest quality standards. Your ability to coordinate tasks and workflow within the kitchen team will be essential in ensuring smooth operations. By supervising kitchen operations and efficiently delegating responsibilities, you will contribute to the overall efficiency of the team. Key Responsibilities: - Manage daily food preparation with a focus on maintaining the highest quality standards - Coordinate tasks and workflow within the kitchen team - Supervise kitchen operations and delegate responsibilities efficiently - Estimate daily production requirements and ensure quality of raw and cooked items - Ensure all food is prepared, presented, and served according to company standards - Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction through exceptional food quality - Monitor food costs and ensure cost efficiency across operations - Document and maintain SOPs for preparation, hygiene, storage, and sanitation - Create and update recipe documentation, including presentation guidelines - Oversee kitchen equipment usage and ensure prompt maintenance - Conduct food trials as part of the pre-employment assessment process Qualifications Required: - Positive attitude and strong attention to detail - Proven experience in kitchen operations, preferably in a leadership role - Ability to handle guest feedback and resolve issues proactively - Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills - Flexibility and willingness to work in a remote location - Familiarity with multiple cuisines - Proficiency in the local language is preferred If you are passionate about crafting high-quality food experiences, leading a talented kitchen team, and elevating the culinary experience, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity at The Postcard on the Arabian Sea.
