Job Description
Role & responsibilities
The IT Officer will be responsible for the administration, support, and development of
Salesforce environment. This role requires hands-on Salesforce expertise, with the ability to
configure, automate, and extend the platform. This Position will also support the existing
Fonteva implementation.
- Administer, configure, and support Salesforce platform.
- Develop automations using Salesforce Flows; understand and troubleshoot Apex triggers and classes.
- Provide support to self-hosted frontend built with salesforce.
- Act as first-line support for user (both staff and clients) incidents, training, and troubleshooting. Escalate issues to Fonteva /Salesforce if needed and ensure closure within Service Level Agreement.
- Ensure system integrity, security, and data quality.
- Contribute to integrations and API work with other platforms.
- Support Linux server operations and database management.
- Build simple full-stack web applications and user interfaces with modern frontend frameworks.
- Support to deploy open-source platforms/software on cloud server.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and support UAT/change management.
Preferred candidate profile
- The candidate should have 3 to 5 years of experience in Salesforce administration and development.
- Proven ability to configure Salesforce (objects, fields, page layouts, permissions, flows).
- Strong understanding of Salesforce automation tools and Apex (read, troubleshoot, preferably write).
- Salesforce Administrator certification.
- Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or related discipline.
- Familiarity with API integrations and system architecture.
- Practical knowledge of Linux server operations.
