Job Description
The SAP SD Lead is responsible for managing the design, implementation, and support of the SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) module. This role ensures efficient order-to-cash processes, integration with other SAP modules, and alignment with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- SAP SD Implementation & Support:
- Lead end-to-end SAP SD implementations and upgrades (preferably S/4HANA).
- Configure SD functionalities including sales order processing, pricing, shipping, billing, and credit management.
- Manage integration with MM, FICO, PP, and other modules.
- Business Process Optimization:
- Analyze and translate complex business requirements into SAP solutions.
- Conduct gap analysis and define functional specifications.
- Recommend process improvements and automation opportunities.
- Project Management:
- Lead cross-functional teams during blueprinting, realization, testing, and go-live phases.
- Coordinate with stakeholders across supply chain, logistics, and finance.
- Ensure timely delivery of project milestones and quality outcomes.
- Documentation & Compliance:
- Prepare detailed configuration documents, functional specs, and test scripts.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulations.
- Training & Support:
- Provide end-user training and post-go-live support.
- Troubleshoot and resolve SD-related issues.
