Job Description
Job Title: Manufacturing Consultant (PTM) Track
Experience Level:Senior (5+ years)
Location- India
Job Summary:
A highly skilled Oracle Fusion Manufacturing Consultant with 5+ years of experience to support the implementation and optimization of manufacturing operations in the Plan to Manufacture (P2M) track. The ideal candidate will work closely with business users to configure, test, and deploy Oracle Fusion Manufacturing Cloud modules that align with industrys best practices and client objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manufacturing Process Design:Design and configure Oracle Fusion Manufacturing Cloud processes including work definitions, work orders, routing, and resource setups based on business requirements.
- Integration:Ensure seamless integration between Manufacturing, Inventory, Costing, and Supply Planning modules to support end-to-end production flows
- Requirements Gathering:Collaborate with business users to gather requirements, perform fit-gap analysis, and propose scalable solutions for discreet, process, or mixed-mode manufacturing.
- Testing and Validation:Develop and execute test scripts for manufacturing scenarios, including WIP transactions, BOM setup, shop floor activities, and backflush processes.
- Support for Work Execution: Guide users on work order lifecycle management, work center operations, material consumption, and production reporting.
- Documentation and Training:Prepare functional design documents, SOPs, training materials, and conduct knowledge transfer sessions to client teams
- Post Go live Support: Provide stabilization and HyperCare support post-implementation; recommend process improvements for better throughput and system performance.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in ERP implementations, with at least 2+ years in Oracle Fusion Manufacturing Cloud.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (discrete/process), routings, work centers, resources, and cost structures.
- Experience in Oracle Fusion modules such as Manufacturing, Inventory, Cost Management, and Planning.
- Involvement in at least one end-to-end Oracle Cloud Manufacturing implementation.
Preferred Skills:
- Oracle Cloud Manufacturing or SCM certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with MES systems or shop floor integration is an advantage.
- Proficiency in FBDI/ADFDI tools for mass data uploads.
- Basic understanding of OTBI and BI Publisher reporting tools.
- Strong problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
- Industry exposure to automotive, life sciences, or industrial manufacturing sectors is desirable.
