Job Description

Role & responsibilities

As an Oracle Database Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting and maintaining the performance, integrity, and security of our production and development Oracle database systems. You will be involved in database monitoring, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and supporting Oracle Exadata systems. Youll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth database operations across different environments.

Roles & Responsibilities:
-Perform day-to-day administration, monitoring, and maintenance of Oracle databases.
-Support Oracle Exadata environments with guidance from senior team members.
-Troubleshoot database performance issues and assist in implementing performance improvements.
-Participate in backup and recovery procedures and ensure database availability.
-Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to support ongoing projects.
-Follow established ITIL-based operational processes and documentation standards.
-Contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives and documentation updates.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must-Have Skills:
-5 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Database Administration.
-Experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and RMAN.
-Proficiency in database installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades.
Should-Have Skills:
-Exposure to Oracle Exadata environments (monitoring, maintenance, basic troubleshooting).
-Familiarity with tools like OEM (Oracle Enterprise Manager).

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration (DBA).
- This position is based at our Noida office.
- A 15-year full time education is required.
- Strong understanding of SQL and PL/SQL.
