Job Description
- As an Assistant Vice President in Stress Testing at Barclays, you will play a vital role in the Investment Bank OBI team. Your main responsibilities will include coordinating and consolidating data for Planning and Stress Testing. This data is crucial for internal reporting to senior management and external disclosures. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and implement stress testing methodologies to assess the bank's resilience under various economic scenarios. - Manage the bank's financial risks and communicate financial risks to relevant stakeholders. - Analyze the bank's capital position and develop strategies to optimize capital utilization. - Orchestrate process cycles for Planning and Stress Testing, project managing delivery, and tracking progress. - Manage data quality, dataflows, and BAU systems for iterative generation of Capital or Funding plans. **Qualifications Required:** - Masters degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent. - Experience in managing stakeholders, regulatory engagements, and communication skills. - Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite, Alteryx, Tableau, and Qlik Sense. - Good understanding of regulatory capital and stress testing requirements. In this role, you will also be assessed on key critical skills like risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, and digital and technology skills. You will be based out of Chennai & Gurugram.
