Job Description
- As an Assistant Manager in the Cement organization in Maharashtra, India, your role involves managing various key result areas to ensure effective derivatives transaction management, market monitoring, optimization, reporting, documentation, audit, risk & compliance, and continuous improvements. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Derivatives Transaction Management:** - Maintain MIS of foreign currency exposures by updating data from different teams like CPC, Projects, Birla White, and BPD. - Verify purchase order alerts in SAP and capture all relevant details in the MIS. - Manage incoming reports on marine operations, shipping freights, and export invoices for timely updates to the MIS. - Execute options strategies for hedging exposures, derive pricing, and prepare quote summaries for comparison. - Run the RFQ process with top banks, negotiate terms, and finalize deals, including updating trades in the Option MIS. - Ensure completion of all transaction documentation within stipulated timeframes. - **Market Monitoring and Optimization:** - Monitor net open exposure position on a live basis to comply with internal policies on Forex exposures. - Review trade finance emails for updates on value, due dates, and bank changes. - Track market movements, assess outstanding options against market shifts, and manage settlement of options on maturity. - **Reporting and Documentation:** - Prepare compliance notes for hedge accounting related to option strategies and ensure adherence to financial regulations. - Monitor forward points for currencies, make strategic decisions on rolling over or booking hedges based on market conditions. - Verify term sheets and scenarios for various financial products, ensuring thorough and accessible documentation for audits. - **Audit, Risk & Compliance:** - Adhere to risk management protocols and comply with SOPs for the function to meet all compliances. - Support audit requirements by providing necessary documentation and data. - **Continuous Improvements:** - Identify process and system improvements, provide recommendations, and implement necessary changes based on finalized improvements. **Qualifications:** - Chartered Accountant In this role, you will report to the Assistant Vice President. Your minimum experience level should be 3-5 years.,
