Job Summary
As a Senior Architect at Infogain, you will showcase your expertise across the full technology stack, including front-end, backend, databases, infrastructure, and DevSecOps. You will be part of our Digital Engineering Studio, working on large-scale, distributed applications across multiple business units and Fortune 500 clients. You will leverage technologies such as Java, .NET, and open-source frameworks, while building on cloud infrastructure and PaaS platforms.
This role demands a blend of technical depth, solutioning capability, and strong stakeholder management, ensuring delivery excellence and customer satisfaction in application modernization and digital transformation programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead or contribute to RFP/RFI solutioning and estimation exercises.
- Review and optimize existing application architectures for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Design scalable, modern architectures for new and existing applications, including microservices and event-driven systems.
- Recommend and integrate COTS and custom solutions to align with business requirements.
- Define cloud services, monitoring, observability, and DevSecOps strategies.
- Partner with clients and internal teams to capture functional and non-functional requirements.
- Lead application modernization initiatives, driving migration to cloud-native and containerized environments.
- Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure on-time, quality project execution.
- Act as a customer-facing technical leader, ensuring alignment with business outcomes and technology roadmaps.
- Drive best practices, accelerators, and developer experience within engineering teams.
- Advise clients on GenAI adoption in SDLC and Agentic AI implementations for productivity and automation.
Required Experience
- 15+ years of IT experience with at least 3+ years in modern application architecture.
- Strong hands-on expertise in .NET, Java, and cloud-native architecture.
- Proven experience in application modernization, re-platforming, and cloud migration programs.
- Demonstrated capability in solutioning and estimation for RFPs/RFIs.
- Strong experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and performance engineering.
- Deep knowledge of microservices, containers, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- At least one implementation involving COTS customization/integration.
- Strong code review skills across modern stacks like LAMP, MEAN, and MERN.
- Experience in customer-facing roles, stakeholder management, and project delivery.
Preferred Qualifications
- Cloud certification in Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Experience with Kubernetes (AKS, EKS, GKE, ECS).
- Exposure to emerging technologies like GenAI, MLOps, and agentic systems.
- Strong consulting mindset with the ability to influence technology direction at the CxO level
