Job Description
Location: Belapur, Navi Mumbai
Experience: 2 - 7 years
Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Security Administrator to join our team in Belapur. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in managing network and security infrastructure, monitoring security events, and ensuring compliance with organizational security standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer, configure, and maintain firewalls, VPNs, and other network security devices.
Monitor network and security logs for potential threats, vulnerabilities, or suspicious activities.
Perform regular audits of security policies, configurations, and access controls.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to firewalls, proxies, and security appliances.
Implement and maintain endpoint protection and intrusion prevention systems.
Collaborate with SOC, NOC, and IT teams for incident response and escalations.
Conduct patch management, vulnerability assessment, and remediation.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
Document procedures, incidents, and configurations for future reference.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
2 7 years of experience in network and security administration.
Strong knowledge of firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security.
Experience with configuring and troubleshooting Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Cisco security devices.
Solid understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and network protocols.
Hands-on experience with security monitoring tools and SIEM platforms (preferred).
Ability to handle incident response and perform root cause analysis.
Certifications (Mandatory any of the following):
CCNA Security
PCNSE (Palo Alto Certified Network Security Engineer)
NSE 4 (Fortinet Network Security Professional)
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
Willingness to work in shifts (if required) and support on-call escalations.
